List of Assets

A clear record of what you own, for the people you trust.

Fill in the sections that apply to you, then download it as a PDF to keep, share with your executor, or bring to your Will-writing appointment. Nothing here is sent anywhere; it stays on this device until you save it.

Your details

As you'd like them to appear on your document.

Property

List each property you own, and how it's held. Properties held under Joint Tenancy pass automatically to the surviving owner and are not included in a Will.

Property 1
Manner of holding

CPF

Your CPF savings are not covered by your Will. If you've made a nomination, your CPF Board nominees receive the funds directly; otherwise it's distributed under the Intestate Succession Act.

Do you have CPF savings?
Have you made a CPF nomination?

Insurance policies

Policies with a nomination pay out directly to the nominee and fall outside your Will.

Dependants' Protection Scheme (DPS)?
If you're above 65, this is usually No.
Have you nominated?
If not nominated, DPS falls under your Will.
DPS is a term-life insurance scheme administered by Great Eastern Life to cover death, terminal illness and total permanent disability through your CPF. EDL is not affiliated with Great Eastern.

Bank accounts

No need to record how much is in each account. This is simply about where you usually keep your money, so your executor knows where to look. If an account is jointly owned and operated, the balance usually passes to the surviving owner and isn't given under the Will.

Other assets

Anything else worth recording. Brief notes are fine.

Letter of wishes

Not a legal document, but a personal note to your executor and loved ones: funeral arrangements, sentimental items, or anything you'd like them to know. Optional.
